Wildlife and Environment:

The cabin is situated in a wooded area in Minnesota, which means you may encounter various types of wildlife, including bears, deer, foxes, raccoons, snapping turtles, ants, mosquitoes, spiders, wood ticks, deer ticks, bees, and wasps.

Guests are advised not to feed any wildlife on the property.

You will be responsible for maintaining the property to prevent attracting wildlife, which includes properly disposing of trash and storing food securely.

Though the cabin is treated seasonally for pests, it is important to keep the cabin doors closed to minimize the entry of bugs.

Liability and Rental Agreement:

Guests are required to sign a liability waiver and rental agreement acknowledging the natural risks associated with the property and its surroundings.

Space and Amenities:

The BirchBox Container is a cozy tiny house with a total space of 420 sq ft. It's designed for guests who appreciate a compact, intimate living space.

We offer a self check-in and check-out process for your convenience and flexibility.

It's ideal for those who enjoy close contact with nature and the unique experience of staying in a tiny house, while also understanding and respecting the guidelines that ensure a safe and enjoyable stay.

While we love our furry friends, pets are currently not permitted in or on the property. If this policy is violated, a $250.00 cleaning fee will be charged and you will be asked to leave without a refund.

No refunds will be given for cancellations made after 4pm CST fourteen (14) days prior to the Check-in Date. Any cancellation request must be communicated by email to hello@birchboxcontainer.com. After 4PM CST 14 days before the check-in date, all amounts paid to the host are non-refundable, regardless of reason for cancellation; including inclement weather.

You will have access to our outdoor hot tub, fire pit, covered seating area, and Mississippi River overlook during your stay at our property.

4 pillows per bed (2 down and 2 memory foam), queen size down comforters and duvets, throw blankets, bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, hot tub towels, board games, binoculars, freshly ground coffee beans, coffee maker, chemex, creamer/sugar, salt/pepper/oil, hot water kettle, a wine key, bottle opener, refrigerator, freezer, single burner induction cooktop, gas grill, grill utensils, air fryer/toaster/warmer, basic kitchen utensils (pots, pans, cups, bowls, plates, silverware, knives, coffee mugs, etc), s’more sticks for the fire pits, Public Goods shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hair dryer, white noise machines and more.

Absolutely, we offer high-speed internet access. The download speeds are reliably around 60Mbps, while upload speeds average at 10Mbps. However, we recommend disconnecting as much as possible during your stay at The BirchBox Container to fully enjoy the experience.

The maximum number of people that may stay overnight at the Property is limited to four (4) people. Individuals must be 21 years of age to book this Property. Adults cannot book this Property on behalf of underage guests, no exception.

While infants and children are allowed, guests understand that no special efforts have been made to “childproof” the Property.
